We’re thrilled to welcome Carlos to the team, amplifying our ability to handle complex, high-value claims and secure justice for clients who have suffered life-changing injuries. Some of Carlos’ achievements include:
- £12 million for failure to diagnose intracranial haemorrhage
- £6 million for birth injury involving cerebral palsy
- £5 million for birth injury due to misinterpreted CTG monitoring
- £3 million for GP’s failure to diagnose TB resulting in paraplegia
- £1.5 million for birth injury involving Erb’s Palsy

- £1 million for untreated infection leading to leg amputation
What is Medical Negligence?
Medical negligence occurs when a healthcare provider – whether a GP, hospital trust, ambulance service, or other medical provider – falls below the standard of care expected of them, and that substandard care causes injury and loss.
- Duty of care – The healthcare provider owed you a duty of care (usually established for NHS treatment or private medical care)
- Breach of duty – The care provided fell below the expected standard
- Causation – The breach directly caused your injury and losses
The Types of Cases We Handle
Our Medical Negligence Department handles a comprehensive range of claims, including:
- Birth injuries, including cerebral palsy and Erb’s palsy
- Surgical errors and complications
- Misdiagnosis or delayed diagnosis (including cancer, fractures, and infections)
- A&E errors and failures
- Gynaecology and urology injuries
- GP negligence, including locum and surgery staff errors
- Negligent follow-up care or failure to monitor patients
In most cases, you have three years from the incident or from when you became aware of the negligence to make a claim. Children under 18 have until their 21st birthday. Our team will discuss your specific timeframe during your free initial consultation.
No Win, No Fee – No Risk to You
We believe that everyone who has suffered due to medical negligence deserves access to justice, regardless of their financial situation with the full reassurance that making a claim will not affect ongoing or future NHS treatment in any way.
That’s why all our medical negligence cases are handled on a Conditional Fee Agreement (CFA) basis with insurance protection.
- You pay nothing if your claim is unsuccessful
- No upfront costs or fees
- If you win, the success fee and insurance premium are deducted from your compensation
- We’ll explain all costs clearly before starting your case
Taking the First Step
If you believe you or a loved one has been a victim of medical negligence, we’re here to help. Our first consultation is completely free and without obligation. We’ll listen to your story, assess whether you have a valid claim, and explain your options clearly.
Everything you share with us is privileged and confidential. We won’t discuss your case with anyone, including family members, without your express permission.
Getting in touch doesn’t commit you to anything – it’s simply an opportunity to understand your rights and explore whether pursuing a claim is the right decision for you.
